OK, the crappy customer service only gets worse. Just tried to call for assistance with activating a new adapter from
Vonage
for an additional line - plugged it in, it connects fine, but doesn't get a phone light on either line. Called the help line - twice now. First call - after going through several layers of touch-tone menus, "your call is being transferred".... BUSY SIGNAL! Hmmm, lets try this again. Call back, go all the way through the layers of menus, "your call is being transferred"... "we're sorry, there is no one available to take your call, please call some other time."
Amazing, simply amazing.... ***sigh***

I know. I like their business model (keep things cheap, but working), but maybe they need to funnel $$ more into their cs. They dont even accept e-mails. Its really hit or miss with it.

Hmm... I wonder which options you're dialing. I've been able to get in touch with
Vonage
reps in less than 30 seconds, called both on Tuesday and Wednesday, no problems. First call was to activate 2 more lines of service on a retail WRTP54G, the second call was to change MAC addresses b/c the first WRTP54G was too noisy for the application it was being used in.

The email thing is really unacceptable. If your not going to get an answer, remove the link.

ABSOLUTELY! That shouldn't be a black-hole.

Think about it. In frustration, people start doing Internet searches. They find this place. We spend time helping solve the problem.
Vonage
spends nothing to offer this assistance. It's a win-..., well, it's a Win for
Vonage
, anyway.

It would be nice if
Vonage
would provide some sort of compensation for the people who are posting in the forum all the time. <HINT, HINT to any
Vonage
employees who are watching this> Heck, I'd even be willing to beta-test things.

Either making a few large every now and then in referral/coadvertising fees, or just a really big
Vonage
fan, or clinically insane. Please DO NOT bring out the cheerleaders as evidence of the third. Please.
