I have the RTP300. The phone gives me normal dial tone, but when a call is made, it rings wherever I am calling, but no voice is heard. Same thing happens when calling my Vonage number, it rings but once I answer there is no voice.
I have this in Mexico, where my ISP told me that they use NAT, and that it needs to be configured to that. I have no clue what that means. They say they are not blocking anything. My conection is through fiber optic (not DSL or cable), and my modem is an Etherwan Xpresso 1608 Ethernet switch. Speed tests are all within normal limits.
Does anyone have an idea if this can be fixed? |

I'm not sure if they're still doing it, but the Mexican telephone company (gov't monopoly) was blocking Voip awhile back.
Try going to www.testmyvoip.com and see what results you get. |
