Vonage says they can't transfer my number bbecause I have Contractual Obligations with Bell South, I told them I don't but they insist I do.
Phoned Bell South and they said I have no contracts with them just the regular calling plan that most people and that they cannot block number because it is against FCC Regulations.
Does anyone know of a person or a number I can call at Vonage to try and straighten this out? If I can't keep my number I don't want to change over to Vonage. |

Just got off the phone with Vonage and Bellsouth - Ok Vonage says the transfer was denied, talked with a supervisor in the transfer dept who told me this, could not give a reason, ok so i called bellsouth, they were very nice and told me there was nothing wrong that would cause the transfer not to go through
so now i am in the process of cancelling my account, i am not trying to bash and run, this is ridiculous, i have been more than patient with vonage, but no one at vonage has any answers, for being such a good voip phone company, i would think customer service would be better |

I found out that vonage is not transferring numbers from our area code 528 but CSR does not seem to know this. |
