Post subject: Getting the best from the service
Having just set up
Vonage
through a PAP2 adapter linked into my 10Meg Blueyonder Broadband connection, I am a little disappointed at the sound quality.
Things are clear enough, but there does seem to be a background hum, and occasionally the callers sound a little muffled.
I've tried tweaking the sound quality through the Bandwidth saver on Dashboard, and am on the highest quality.
The PAP2 connects directly to my router - a Linksys BEFSR41v3 (cable connect).
Has anyone any thoughts please ?
