Your lucky,
I get to pay an additional 6 bits a month because I live in Oregon. On top of that I pay a levee on my property tax of a buck a thousand for upgrading the 911 system 2 years ago. On the other hand there is no sales tax in Oregon and the state doesn't charge income tax on my Retired Navy pension so I guess it's a wash.
I count taxes, fees, whatever you want to call them pretty much a way of life. I do miss the old days when you just dialed "0" when you had a problem. <Sigh> |

I have the police office and the fire department on speed dial. 911 gives me a "we or sorry the number you dialed...." msg |

Strictly speaking, if you read the Vonage Terms of Service, you're not allowed to use the adaptor in Japan, so I wouldn't complain too much |
