Hi, I have noticed there is a pattern with certain calls 'crackling' on my Vonage line. This was documented in an earlier post.
I have discovered that each time I have a problem with audio quality, a crackly line that the other caller is on a Telewest line and that they are using a cordless phone. This seems to be only a problem with Telewest lines (in my experience any way), I have not had problems with BT lines even if the caller is using a cordless phone.
A number of other people on this forum have reported experiencing a crackly line on certain calls, I wonder if you could check to see if this holds true for you? If so there may be a problem with the interconnect between Vonage and Telewest.
