Post subject: Erratic New Message Notification
Occasionally I will receive a voice message but will not be notified via the new message notification on my Uniden 1869 V phone or via email. I have had
Vonage
service for two months and I am generally happy with the service but this issue lowers our confidence we will get our voice mail messages.
If I check voicemail on-line at Vonage.com the messages are there. If I select them at that point the new message light starts to blink. Also when the new message light does not go on neither do I receive an email notifying me of a new message.
This problem is erratic.
1. Your location:- Las Vegas, NV
2. Your ISP name and type (cable, DSL, wireless etc): Cox Cable
3. Upload and download speeds: 5Mbps upload, 768 kbps download
4. Modem make and model: Motorola SURFboard SB 5120
5. Type of
Vonage
adapter used: Uniden 1869V
6. Setup of Network ie Modem: Cable Modem --->Linksys WRT54G Router ---> Uniden 1869V;
7. Issue you are experiencing ie dropped calls, choppy audio etc: Erratic new message notification (see above for more details)
