I have had Vonage small business service for a few months now & have no major complaints. Computer, Phone & Fax all act right.
I now need to add a 2nd computer (laptop) to the works. I would prefer a simple setup. I do not necessarily need wireless. But that could be a plus.
No major computer uploads / downloads just simple spreadsheet, estimates & invoices. Any suggestions for a simple router setup?
I currently have a Terayon TJ715X cable modem >Motorola VT1005 >PIII Desktop Computer, Phone & fax.
Service is thru Bright House / Roadrunner.
Thanks, Mikeh |

With your limited demands, any consumer router would probably do just fine for you. Buy a nice little $40-50 unit, or spend the extra $20 on a Linksys WRT54GL for a little future expandability.
If you get into wireless, be sure you secure it. Get a Wireless-G router that supports at LEAST WPA, if not WPA2. |
