Post subject: poor audio, various issues: how does this look?
poor audio quality, Tivo unable to phone home for three weeks (unable to phone anywhere), router displays "router is synchronizing services, please wait" periodically.

I got on the horn with
Vonage
, the tech changed some of my account settings and had me reboot my modem and router. I went and tried my Tivo, it dialed right out. No idea what they changed (I could barely understand the tech) but that part is fixed. The Tivo piece had been working fine for a year prior to its failure three weeks ago. Odd.

If you look at the traceroute, the long hop times are coming in just before hitting
Vonage
. Just looking at those numbers, it looks like the issue is with
Vonage
or the
Vonage
/ AT&T connection.
