As indicated in my subject line, whenever we call a landline number, lately our outbound voice is very choppy, with pops. It's almost like listening to a voice on a frequency hopping radio where the voice is intelligible, but you can definitely tell it's not coming from a normal landline. Has anyone else experienced this? RTP300 on Comcast in Maryland. Thanks. |

First thing, is go to www.testyourvoip.com and report your detailed results here. Let's see what's going on first. |

Hey Dave,
Yeah, I've done that numerous times. My question was intended to ask the broad RTP300 audience if they too experience the same thing I'm referring to or if it's Comcast or just inherently with the RTP300 or the alignment of the plants on any given day of the week. |

I have Comcast in Kansas City and over the past ten days to two weeks the service has been the absolute pits!!! Frequent outages, terrible quality of service and a new IP address about the same time. Bandwidth about 1/2 of what it was and of course if I want to wait a week they will get someone right out....again.... It was good while it lasted....as soon as the wind blows it should improve *laughs |
