Well, you COULD just set a different time zone to offset the difference.
That would be a pure workaround, but it might give you accurate time. |

Thanks, I'll give that a shot. Any idea how long it takes for the changes to take effect after I make them? |

As far as I know, the Vonage devices all re-sync with the server every time they are restarted, and periodically (every few hours). So, just unplug the Vonage unit and plug it back in, and the setting *should* resync.
At least, that's the advice I've been given for making Bandwidth Saver take effect immediately. |

Set both Vonage account and router to Mountain time, let the router reboot, and time is still an hour off (equivalent of Eastern time). I'll give it a day and see what happens. |

Hmm. Dunno what to tell you on that one. Sounds like you have a router that's desperately trying to be on Eastern time. Since I *am* in Eastern time, I wouldn't know if my router was ignoring other time zones. |

It is behind a Linksys WRT54G, but it appears to allow that port through. Now whenever my cable modem goes down I'll have to reboot it + WRT54G + two RTP300's. |
You shouldn't have to do this.... see if you can squeak out a new cable modem from Comcrap. The Motorola SB5100's are nice and very Voip friendly. |

I don't see in the router software (RTP300) where you change the timezone. Can someone point me in the right direction or is it one of those features that's 'locked out'?
My router is set to Eastern TIme and I am in Mountain Time, thus all my phones & CID indicate 2 hrs. ahead.
Thanks, |

I'm using the RT31P2, and the time zone setting is right after you log into the router on the Setup>Basic Setup page.
And by the way... after setting, resetting the time zones and the router, I'm still off by an hour. No clue what's going on. |
