I'm having issues with lack of speed (downloading things- either with Safari, limewire, torrents and such) Also, voice quality on the phone is often...not that great.
Currently, I have my RTP300 connected to my cable modem, and the iMac (g5, not intel) connected right to the RTP300. I have a wireless router connected to the RTP300, however I'm not usually using it so it's not an issue.
So I'm thinking I need to fiddle with my RTP300 settings, and I can hopefully get some better speed. Without the RTP300, my speed is good (5mg download rate usually). With it, I'm lucky if I get 1-2mg.
What settings can I adjust to boost my speeds?
I miss downloading big files at the blink of an eye |

Try putting your wireless router in front of the RTP300:
Cable Modem -> Wireless Router -> RTP300
Put the MAC on the Wireless router, too.

In the diagram above, your Wireless Router would be labled the "Primary Router", and the RTP300 is the "Vonage Router". |
