Thanks, It helps me to know that. I am thinking of taking the Vonage plunge. The only thing I am not sure of now is if I should bite on a new motorola surfboard and a new router, or start with the stuff I have and a pap2. I am thinking of starting with what I have ( see above for current set up) and a pap2 since I can get one for virtually nothing after rebate at circuit city among other places, and no more than 50 bucks at wal mart. I can always upgrade the equipment later I assume.
Thanks again |

thats a great idea, however, I will be doing one number to start (line 1 of the pap2. That will be for my kids line. Then, If all goes well, I will port my home verizon number over to the pap 2 on line 2. So, I wort be configuring 2 lines right away. It will probably be a few months of trial on the first line before I decide.
Thanks |

OK, but my point about the RTP300 was not that it's better than other options technically, but that it's basically free if you get it from Vonage (unless prices have gone up). |

Understood Steve, and thanks for all of your help. The RTP300 sure is another option I may investigate. The one thing I have decided over the last couple of days is that I think that I am going to give it a try. It is great to have a support forum like this to lean on.
Thanks again |
