After having 6 months of trouble-free Vonage service, we began loosing calls, not being able to hear others, others not being able to hear us and rings ending with busy signal.
We had Vonage tech support make many setting changes, replaced the cable modem, wireless router, had a technician check our house wiring and many other fixes including operating directly to a wired phone.
I then checked with my ISP and found that they had made some changes in their equipment that rendered the Linksys phone adapter non compatible.
After changing to the Motorola phone adapter, everything is back to normal.
Before you spend a lot of time troubleshooting, make an inqiry to you ISP to see if there are any issues with your make or model of your phone adapter. |
