I've been using Vonage now for a little over a month using the Linksys WRTP54G. I have not experienced any of the problems a lot of folks have posted about this router until now. Everything was working fine last night and when I got up the router would not respond. So I rebooted and got nothing but flashing lights across the board. I rebooted again waiting longer and also resetting using the reset button. Well, I did have a change. Now only the power LED just continuously blinks. The manual says if it's flashing it's booting up or upgrading it's firmware. I really don't think this is the problem and I am positive it is not my internet connection because I am only using the router behind my rock solid Siemens Speedstream router connected to my cable modem, hence my ability to get on the internet with this problem. Anyone have any idea why the power LED would continuously blink and never stop? Vonage phone support is crap today and I cannot get through to a tech. |

that is a sign of upgrading firmware but it's also a sign of a dead router. can you access it at 192.168.15.1 with a computer plugged into it? if so, check what it says under line status. |

No, I cannot even access the router setup screen. I've had the power connected to it now for about an hour and it is still flashing the blue LED power button.
If it is dead, who I do I contact to get replacement? Vonage or Linksys? |

I would try Vonage first. if you bought it retail, there's a chance they won't work with you. I would then try to exchange it at the store. then I would try linksys. |
