Ok, I know this question gets asked a lot around here, but now I'm having a problem with it...
I used to be able to get to the Motorola's web configuration page by going to http://192.168.102.1. Now I can't.
My PC is plugged into the PC jack on the MTA. The PC is able to browse the web, but I cannot get into the MTA itself. It usually gives me a generic page that says I do not have sufficient permission to view the page.
Any ideas? Is there a way to reset the stupid thing?
Thanks |

I had a similar problem myself after I turned off DHCP in the VT1000 so that my VPN client would work.
What you need to do is configure your PC to use a static IP address instead of using DHCP. Configure a static IP address of 192.168.102.xxx (xxx is from 2 to 254), subnet 255.255.255.0, with a default gateway of 192.168.102.1.
Then you can enter http://192.168.102.1 in your browser window and you will get the Motorola VT1000 configuration page. When you're done, reconfigure your PC for DHCP again and you should be back in business.
Good luck! |

Ah hah! That did it. Had to assign the static IP to the PC in the MTA's 192.168.102.XXX range, and I got it.
Many thanks! |
