Hello,
In my county (Orange County, FL) some PSAPS are enabled for E911 with Vonage and others are not. I can see the list of the PSAPS for my county on the Excel sheet (Master PSAP Registry) on the FCC page. My question is how do I find what PSAP I belong to. Is there any sort of cross reference of someones address to what PSAP they belong to?

Sorry, I didn't read before I sent.
I would assume it's the most local police authority. If your police/fire is supplied by the county then the county PSAP? If your police/fire is supplied by the neighboring city then use their PASP? Just guessing. |

Thanks but that is the excel sheet I reference in my question. It does not match an address to a PSAP. |

I was very frustrated with this same issue. **I was not yet a customer** My county was finally listed but I could not confirm if the four digit number associated with my area.
I called Vonage, my state, county and city 911 "Specialists" and nobody knew what this number meant.
I emailed the Vonage CEO and the "E911 taskforce" called me back. Based off of my phone number and address they configured a device in their lab and called 911 and the dispatch had my info.
The 911 task force number is 877-817-3847. This should help many with the same question! |

Just an update.
I spoke to Rahim at that # who was very courteous and had a "can do" attitude". He advised me to test out my 911 and it is indeed e-911 just Vonage's 933 is not working properly saying my 911 is basic.
So issue resolved yay so I guess the 933 "service" was my culprit. |
