Well they actually got it shipped out today, i can finally track it.... quick question though... they sent it through the 2-day service, does that mean it will actually be Monday before i get it? cause i really can't see it taking 2 days to come from Ohio to Kentucky (about 5hrs or less away), or could it be here sooner?

I used to live in Lexington and had things shipped from Ohio. Depending on the service, it may be there sooner. However, if DHL is using their at-home partnership with the post office, it may take the full two days - one to get it down to your local post office in Kentucky, and one to deliver it.

so apparently the USPS wont be involved, so ya think it might be here before Monday? :/

that just means that DHL picked it up, not that they are planning on delivering it all the way.

I suspect at worst you'll have it Saturday, since USPS delivers on Saturdays. No guarantees, of course, and it's possible that DHL will route it overnight and have it down to Lexington by tonight, in time for post office dropoff.

You can always call DHL and see if they will allow you to pick it up instead. FedEx and UPS won't, but DHL might. They are up on Enterprise on the Northwest corner of New Circle (Frankfort Pike, Exit 6).

Okay so i called DHL and it's not the DHL@Home service, so the truck will actually be comming to my house... Since it's the 2-day service I'm guessing it will be monday before i recieve it, i got reimbused for the shipping and got credited another month free on my account, so i guess it's not all that bad...but anyways, the question is, do the 2-day deliverys ever come a day early by any chance? lol from where they shipped it it's only a 3hr drive, so why would it take 2-days? Very Happy anyways, any response will be appreicated.

Remember if you take the second month...and you cancel before a year is up..that you will be charged the $39.99 cancelation fee...

and then you will possibly be charged $99 for the device until you ship it back...and they verify it is in working order...

So you could be out quite a bit of money....make sure in the first 30 days that you actually want to keep it for a year before feeling comfortable that "ALL IS WELL"

I just received an email from Vonage saying that my device was lost in shipping and I am to contact them to have a second one shipped.

Holy Cow...its like I saw this comming...I'm glad I've already decided to cancel.

I must have lucked out, I ordered service at 3pm on a friday, it shipped from ohio same day and got it that tuesday. I chose ground for it.
As far as the carrier delivering a 2nd day next day it depends on how busy the terminals are that day. with ups if it gets there early and there is room on the truck they will put it out for delivery and deliver if the driver has time after he has done the guarenteed packages for that day. dont know about DHL though.

Bob were you able to take advantage of the No activation fee and No charge for the first month? I'm thinking that probably had somethig to do with some of the problems I've had so far. If they stretch the time it takes for me to actually get the device...and get it past the 30 days...and then offer me a free month...I'd be stuck with a $35+ disconnection fee if I decided not to stay with them...
