Focal is one of the 3rd party carriers (Xo, PaeTec, etc) tha Vonage uses. Ownership will always be shown by one of those for ported #'s. |

I had to change from Comcast because they don't service my current location (Lord knows I wish they did) so I'm trying to switch to Vonage ... "what a nightmare on porting this number - 45 days so far."
If Focal Communications is the problem, please someone give me their telephone number and I'll rattle their cage instead of speaking with the ill knowledged customer service representatives from Vonage. |

Can't do it. Nobody speaks directly to the 3rd party carriers. Basically they're Vonage lines that are leased thru the 3rd party carriers. Nie way to create layers. Bad for the Customer.
In my time at Vonage I've NEVER seen a LNP trouble tkt that had ANY mention of conversations between Vonage/3rd Party/'old' carrier. |
