Anyone shed any light on when the wifi phone will be launched in the UK?
Thanks in advance,

You can get an F1000 "toady" from either the SIPgate or VoIPTalk device stores an use that with a Vonage Softphone account. |

Thanks, I was aware of that. The beauty of the Vonage one when it arrives is that I won't need any other "bolt on's".

Unless you want to make the WiFi phone your "primary" (only) device, then you will likely end up with something like a soft pone solution anyway, since Vonage only allows one device to be registered to an account. Otherwise, with the current Vonage plans, you would need a fully separate account for the WiFi phone. The soft phone solution may well be simpler. |

Just spoken to someone in sales...
You will need a completly new account or migrated account (additional line) and pay the full £9.99 (or new reduced rate) to run the Wi-Fi Phone

The wi-fi phone is now available on the Vonage site. You can either sign up to the service on the website or ring customer service and they can add the line to an existing account. |

Thanks all of you for your replies. I ordered one yesterday, I will post my findings once it arrives.
So what I decided was that I didn't really want another number so I have set up simulring on my main number to ring my wifi ( kinda solves my problem).
Cheers all. |

Did you have to open a seperate account or was just an additional line on your account? |

Yeah, I had to open a separate account - pain I know, but at the moment there does not seem to be any other way |
