While traveling overseas my Vonage adapter burnt out so I went ahead and bought PAP2 from a retail shop assuming that it should work with Vonage. Obviously, it did not and when I called Vonage I was told that only the adapters sold thru, or branded by, Vonage will work.
Now, I am stuck with an expensive paper-weight. Is there a way to configure PAP2 to work with Vonage?
Thanks,

If you bought a PAP2 from anywhere but a Vonage-retail seller, or from Vonage themselves, no, there is no way. Was this an Ebay buy, by chance? NEVER, buy a Vonage device on Ebay, as there is no guarantee that they'll support it. |

Thanks Dave! No, it was not from eBay. In fact as I was out of country I bought it at a local shop in India.
I guess I'll cancel my servie with Vonage and switch to someone else who supports adapters bought in retail
