hello
I have been having a problem accessing a website (nucleuscms.org)

it happened all of a sudden after restarting my computer after a long day surfing and working.
I have tried accessing both my cable modem and the router config page to see if something in there said "don't go here"
but so far nothing.
I even went and tried the info listed here
http://vonage.nmhoy.net/dnsproxy.html

and still get the same result

however when I take out the linksys rtp300 and connect from computer to cable modem I can access the site no problem

so can anyone help me to fix this?

my cable is road runner
my modem rca model dcm325
my router is the rtp300
I'm using windows xp sp2

also I have no problem accessing any other website I've tried to surf to - for some reason this is the only one -

I know this has been asked before but i cannot get the question right to get the answers to come up that I need!

thanks

Michael

I assume that you've tried re-booting everything (?). What message do you get when you try to access this site?

For what it's worth, I have no problems getting to it, and I'm using an RTP300.

I've tried to reboot everything (modem and router and computer)

Quick question...When you say any other computers, do you mean in other locations or on this network?

Also, what happens if you connect this computer direct to the cable modem?

If that's the case, it's a PC specific problem, or something in your routers preventing only THAT identifiable machine from not reaching that site. Would you agree that if one computer on the network can access a website, and another can't, then it must be something to do with that machine, not specifically a routing issue?

Peace,

Do you have more than one browser on the problem computer? If so, does it happen with both? How about a firewall? Have you tried disabling it if you have one?
