Voice Mail Attachments in .mp3 format

Vonage should stop sending voice mail attachments in .wav files. These files are not only big, but not supported by much of the portable sound equipment on the market. My IPAQ can not play .wav files, but it can play .mp3 files. People can down load their voice maile attachments directly onto their MP3 players.

Files would be smaller allowing for longer messages and being able to make the e-mail file size limitations that the ISP sets.

Why has Vonage not thought of this to begin with?

Because I found it very annoying, I setup a service to convert Vonage voicemails to either GSM 610 (supported by most devices) or MMS (for cell phones).

At the risk of getting it popular and overloading his server, I must say the vm2wm thing works great, fats and easy to set up.

If you have a PPC or WM phone and Vonage, you must use this service (Callwave shoudl replace your provider's voicemail)

I heard it will be implemented when Anonymous Call Rejection is implemented.
