Post subject: VPN to make call
I have tryed looking and have not seen this..
Here it goes I just got
Vonage
( still waiting on the adaptor I had it sent over night ) but here is what i wish to try or do..
If I am on the road and I am alot I went to beable to VPN in to my network and use a USB softphone to make the call over my VPN.
Bandwidth in not a problem I am on a 10mb x 10mb fiber line. but i do not see anything on using a softphone from with in your home
Vonage
network with hardwired lines.
I can think of one way to do this but i dont really wish to go that route. and that in to use a VNC client to my server box and have a phone line hooked up to the box and make a call that way.. I dont like the idea. I just want to be able to VPN to my network and make a call using a USB phone or softphone.
I dont know if anyone will understand what i am try to do. But if you do please let me know of any other was to do this.
Thanks
