Is anybody having problems with incoming CID? I am getting the number all of the time and the name only some of the time. With the old POTS service the same callers displayed with no problems.
Is there something that needs to be reset? |

I had this problem for several weeks after .60 firmware was pushed. I never bothered to call customer service. But, over the past week or so, the problem seems to have gone away.
No idea what caused it. |

I'm seeing the problem in Bend Oregon I see it with about 1/2 the local numbers and almost but not quite all out-of-state calls. It doesn't bother me much but since porting my phone number the first of February SWMBO has sure taken a notice! I'll have knots on my head if it doesn't clear up soon!
I gave her a "Song & Dance" story about it taking time to settle out after porting. I hope it gets fixed before that wears thin. |

I have problems in the Denver area to. Some times a name comes through and some times it doesn't. Not only that but now I get things like Cell Phone CO instead of the persons name on the cell phone account. That didn't happen before.
Also, after deleting voicemails the voicemail light doesn't clear. I've been on for almost a year and have found that these things are fairly normal service for Vonage. One firmware will work but as soon as I see strange things happening I check and see I have a new firmware again. Have the RTP300. |

I had the same problem with voicemail. To clear it, make sure you hit * to log out after listening to voicemails. That works for me. |

I've been doing the * for some time now to exit voicemail. Doesn't always do the job. I find if I go back again and then actually delete the deleted voicemails then that will take care of it.
But...that's a hassle. I don't know. Often it works fine but I run into screwy issues about every other firmware upgrade. I'm getting to the point where I'm about to switch back to Qwest as I never had any problems with them at all. Just didn't like the price. |
