Post subject: Customer Service
I am starting to think that
Vonage
has outsourced all of their customer service to india or overseas because everytime I call the CSR asks me over and over what I am saying then repeats what I say as the answer to my question.. ???? I just wanted to know if they listed their numbers in the phone book and he started explaining how to go to a "phone book" website and look up a number. And I was under the impression that I could hook both my phone and the fax into both ports and still work off one number, he told me to hook the phone line from the router to the wall socket. I asked him if he was serious because the router manual says in big bold letters.. DO NOT HOOK UP TO WALL SOCKET - WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO SOCKET. ??? My landlord would love that! Just wondering since I just hooked it up tonight if its really worth it.. convenient and cheap but none of my questions get answered.
