Once this is filled out (LOA), should your account still show "waiting for LOA" under status?

As I recall, mine took a few days to change status. During that time, from the Vonage side it would seem like I still needed to complete the online LOA, but if I tried to do that the third-party LOA service gave me some sort of 'not found' message. (I guess because I was no longer in their queue of LOAs needing customer input).

My LOA was "received" within minutes of sending it back. Whole process took the 14 business days. From Comcast digital phone service to Vonage. The transfer actually took place yesterday the 16th.

You got lucky. My number transfer from Comcast to Vonage has been in limbo since March 7th.

Reading numerous posts on other sites with transfers taking from 60 to 90 days has me worried.

Paying $65 a month for Comcast voice (not digital) and $25 for Vonage has to go. One more week of this and it's back to SBC, DSL, and Satellite.

Will be making another call to both again this week.

Update April 14th

April 3
Called about transfer was told checking into it and the letter was received from Comcast on march 23.

April 12th
Problems with Comcast. Only selected calls are coming through.

April 14th
Called Comcast got massive run around finally someone says the number was transfered to Broadwing on the 11th. Called Vonage says they don't know who Broadwing is but will escalate call to transfer dept. Called Broadwing say they have number ported to their system and they do handle number porting for Vonage but they are waiting for Vonage to give them info so they can route number through them.
