Is there a URL I can enter that will provide my username, password, and phone line# and take me directly to the list of voicemails? So I can have a desktop shortcut to go right there.
Forgive me if this is answered somewhere ... I have not been able to find it. |

log into your web account on Vonage.com and you can get your voicemail there. You will have to enter your username and password, so there likely is no way you can just have 1 click from a desktop shortcut to get into your voicemail box. Or get the voicemails all sent to your email inbox as attachments, maybe you can one click your way into there. |

Thanks. I knew those options. I was just hoping for magic parameters after www.vonage.com to get in directly. |

I use Firefox for my browser. It can be set to remember my name and password, so it's only one click to Vonage.com and another click (no typing) to get to the dashboard.
IE can probably be set up the same way. |

I think what he wants is something like:
(And don't try click on this)
www.vonage.com/myusername/password/uservoicemaillog.shtml
A direct link I think is what he wants. And with a secure website, that's not gonna happen. |

This software will play your voicemails. free version plays about 20 seconds of the message, full version is cheap. |

Yes, I was thinking of something along the lines of what NavyDavy2001 wrote, perhaps more like:
www.vonage.com/dashboard.asp?uid=x&pw=y&line=z&disp=vm
but I will look at vmrover. It may well satisfy the need. |

That's pretty cool. I downloaded and tried the trial and it seems to work okay. There is also a setting on the Vonage website that you can set to have voicemails emailed to you. That might be a better solution for some. |

you're not going to be able to do this with one click since the vonage site needs to create a session when you log in. it always redirects to a login if a jsessionid doesn't exist.
you can change your start page, though, or use this as your bookmarked URL:
https://secure.vonage.com/vonage-web/features/voicemail/messages/view.htm
then set up autofill within your browser to handle your login.
i've used roboform (roboform.com) for a couple of years. it can be configured to learn your login info (it calls these 'passcards'). once it's set up, you can use it to make a shortcut on your desktop or quicklaunch.
it's free for personal use. |

Just tried this fix. It's about the neatest invention since rolled toilet paper! SWMBO is happy now. |
