Can anyone recommend an alternative supplier to Vonage in the UK? I love Voip and I love the fact that as I live in Mexico and my kids live in England, I can talk to them for as long as I like without paying stupid expensive international call charges (not nice in Mexico!)
Problem is, my Vonage box is broken and Vonage want to charge me another #30.00 to get it replaced. Strangely, I'm not so keen on this route and would rather they send me a replacement. Add to this the fact that they won't ship boxes out to Mexico anyway (although they are happy to accept my Mexican credit card for payment!), I am stuck. Even if I get a replacement sent out when I'm in the UK for a few days later this month, they'll only send the boxes to the address registered on the account, which in my case is my old UK address. I'm fairly sure the people that live in my old house aren't going to be impressed if I start having packages delivered to them.
As I've been without service for over a week now and after having sent six emails to customer service and received...wait...let me count them... oh yes... no replies, I can't see any reason why I should stay with Vonage. Customers are key in this business but it seems Vonage don't subscribe to this concept.
So, my original question...Anyone suggest a good alternative (preferably one that understands how important customers are to their business)?
