Any idea when Vonage will offer a virtual number for China? I'm thinking of switching to italkbb because you can have a virtual number here and in China, plus you can call about 20-30 countries for free.
Vonage, being the leader, needs to catch up to some of these companies. |

China is the next great frontier and Vonage is sleeping like an ostrich in the sand on that matter. italkbb.com offers free China calls + 20 other countries that most english speaking now to call - Asia. My wife tells me to switch to italkbb. Vongage better give free China calls or i'm switching once i don't incur penalty for Vonage cancellation. |

What's CS number? I'm only interested in China/Shanghai and Singapore at this time. Europe, well Germany, but Vonage don't have Germany - the largest economy in the EU.
Summary: Countries of major importance in today's world that needs to have free Vonage:
China, Singapore, Japan, Germany, Taiwan.
They are major economies in the world and for Vonage to leave them out in its free int'l plan would makes its subscriber go for its competitors like iTalkBB.com which offer them free. Right now, what's stopping me from switching is waiting for my penalty period to pass. In fairness, Vonage currently has some (seldom used) features that iTalkBB.com only has listed under "features in the works..".
I paid 5 cents/minutes to Singapore using Vonage, but Singapore keep saying my voice is broken up, words lost etc. When Singapore called me back, we don't have problems. So it is the Vonage infrastructure used going into Singapore that have problems. I supposed Vonage have same problems with China and others, never tried. Besides these issues, Vonage sound quality is great for US and Canada. My Internet is always stable at 6mb download and 800Kb uploads, Vonage tested it and said it support max 4 Vonage lines --- So, problem is never with my broadband Internet. |

I see the joke. I would rather write to them or use the Chat to communicate, no accent there. |
