Aw, it happens. I almost did it to my buddy when we were hunting wabbits many years ago. I missed his foot by about 6 inches. Needless to say, he always wore orange after that incident and made lots of noise when we were out hunting together. Made for crappy hunting, but kept us with only the holes we were supposed to have.
