Hello Everyone. I live in the Los Angeles California area. For the cost of shipping from me to you, I have:
1 Vonage-supplied Motorola Voice Terminal, used for approx. 1.5 years,
1 Motorola Cable Modem, used for approx. 1.5 years,
2 Uniden TCX800 Extension Handsets, also used for about 1.5 yrs
These are all working pieces of equipment. I just don't need them anymore, and am looking for a new home for them. Vonage didn't want their modem back when I dropped the service. How strange! Anyway, if anyone wants this stuff, email me.
If you'd like a little background: I had cable internet from Charter Communications and my primary phone was using the Vonage service. The calls sounded crystal on my side, but the other side of the conversation was filled with beeps, bops, static and voice drops. I want back and forth between Vonage and Charter. Each blaming the other. After a year and a half I finally roared "THAT'S IT!" and got phone and dsl from Verizon.
The Uniden phone base died and was going to cost me $80 for repair so I purchased a new Uniden, thinking the handsets would be compatible. Apparently a TCX805 is NOT the same as a tcx800. Who knew? Sigh. So I can't use the extensions with the new base. And the store no longer sells the older model base. Handsets, anyone? LOL!
