Friends,

I've had a 900mHz Bellsouth cordless phone on my Cisco ATA186 forever. Last week some time, the Message Waiting LED started working. It NEVER worked before.

Anyone else noticed this? Just curious. I wonder if Vonage started transmitting FSK rather than just the stutter dialtone. I still get the stutter dialtone, but I wonder if they added FSK.

Any thoughts?

I read on DSLR that they had recently upgraded the firmware in the ATAs to do FSK. As far as I know, the MTAs always have done FSK.

Now that you mention it, my MTA did do FSK a long time ago. But it looks like the ATA does too.
