Post subject: Sound Quality horrible. Can I increase bandwidth?
Hi there!
I just joined
Vonage
UK but have a terrible time with the way the phone works on international calls.
A. I get several phone sounds before getting the connection (a UK bip bip and a US long sound for expample)
B. Once connected, the voice quality is horrible. I increased to the best qualtiy 90K i believe but it is still rubbish. I have 1MB available, would it be possible to increase the bandwidth? Are there any other way to have close to "normal phone" quality?

OK...this will really depend on the router that you are trying to pass the calls through...for instance do you have QOS setup?
Cheers,
