my tivo only has a success rate of 1 out of 10 calls connecting. i have read about adding a dsl filter to help it connect and the same tip for some fax machines.

do i need to put a filter on each device or can i put the filter where my ata plugs into the house wiring eliminating the need for a filter for each device.

which direction should the filter be installed some post indicate that they hooked it up backwards
