If you have an afternoon to kill call Vonage. If you actually get to speak to some one I guarantee he/she will have an accent so thick you could paint walls with it. After i heard the word Wonage, I asked to speak to someone else. Big Mistake. Truly i could understand him more clearly, but he put me on hold to "pull up my info" and must have fallen asleep. Apparently Vonage doesnt support manditory drug testing. If you want to save money on Long distance just get a nationwide plan on your cell phone and take off all the extras from your land line. Good Customer Service is worth the extra $$ ..

This is not the only trying experience with them.
Is anyone else having issues with customer service?

Nice improper and baseless comment. There are many helpful Vonage employess that frequent this forum and try to help people. Now I see why it's so hard to help SOME people with additudes like yours out there. I consider your comments to be mean-spirited and offensive. Please post again when you can show some basic respect and not so quick to stereotype people.

sorry dear diddnt know you worked there. the underlying issue is that i am frustrated with the lack of help i have recieved. Just wondering how wide spread the problem is.

You, like Vonage customer service are not addressing the real issue. but thanks for your opinion.

And no, Sir, you miss the underlying issue. Your comments were not needed, and a simple search of the forums would show some people DO have problems with CS, others DO NOT. Instead you chose to bash people you have never met, and while you have dealt with only a handful of representatives, you just decided to lump them all in one pot and poop on them. I for one will not stand for stereotyping, especially when people I have come to know that are Vonage employees are very helpful and try to resolve issues.

That said, I can understand your frustration, and if we can help with a technical problem or question, just ask. That's why this independant forum was created, to help out our fellow customers.

I have not had any pleasant experiences calling Vonage for support. That's why I am here. Because I get a great deal of help from both Vonage and non-Vonage employees. This forum will always be my first tier for Vonage assistance.

Well then I would have to say i have made another terrible mistake {besides signing up for vonage). I didnt realize this was the Vonage forum for the uptight and humorless.
Here's an idea. instead of attacking my bad character, why dont you give me the name of one of your "helpful" customer service reps and help me solve my Vonage problem. this isnt OPRAH. I dont need an ettiquite lesson from you, i need a decent csr to talk to ......
