Hello, I use a Vonnage Voip linksys router in my house which sends the signal to my other computers. I am having trouble connecting to dibalo ii. I believe the problem is in the ports, diablo ii requires ports 4000 and port 6112 both need to be open for TCP and UDP. How do i make sure they are open? and also how can i turn off any firewalls that may also be causing a conflict? thanks alex |

What's the router model? RTP300? WRTP54G? RT31P2? (Those might not be right, I'm going off the top of my head). I'm a bit surprised it would mess up online gaming regardless of the router. Since your PC is making the initial connection request (or are you running a Diablo server?) NAT should handle the port routing to the proper PC for you automatically. |

On any of the linksys devices you can log into the router (http://192.168.15.1 username/pwd: admin for both). Then click on "applications and gaming" then "Port Range Forwarding" Here you can add the ports you want to forward. |

reebok - for a second I thought you were the original poster, then I got the joke....anyway what I said should work for any Vonage Linksys Router that has a computer connected to it. (I'm sure there is an exception...) |

reebok,
PAP2 is not a router.....it's simply a dedicated phone adapter! |
