I have the RPT300 with firmware .60. I've been having phone calls get disconnected and I verified it is the RPT300.
Anyone else having this issue or have a solution?
Ha.. looks like another call to India. |

not much information there. every call? some calls? day or night? only certain phone numbers? only certain types of numbers (international, local, long distance, cell phones, voip to voip, so on and so forth)? |

It's random times. Local and long distance. Various area codes. Cell phone and regular phone. No VoIP calls that I'm aware of. |

not that I think I'm going to find a solution here, but I'm curious how you verified it's the rtp300? and how long has it been going on? |

This has happened twice while I've had this adapter. It was fixed previous, as a known issue I was told, with firmware .52 I think it was. Maybe .55. Anyway, things were fine with version .58 as well. The newest must not have been too long ago. Which is .60. I have the Linksys in view and while I'm on the phone the phone light (there's two LEDs on the front for two phone jacks) goes out right when the call is dropped.
It stays off. I have no dial tone at all when I pickup the handset. |

wow, that's weird. how do you get it back? I wonder what it says under the line status in the web setup when that happens. if you feel like it next time, you should check it out. |

That's the weird part. Most of the time the people I'm talking to call me back. At a guess maybe 15 - 30 seconds. The phone rings and I pick it up and it's them
Does that make any sense?
I would assume doing a power cycle would clear it but I haven't done that as of yet. |

I had dropped calls on my RPT300 as well, but only when I was running .58. Since the upgrade to .60, no issues, so kind of the opposite of your experience.
Did you try to call CS about this? They can run some debugs and review the logs of a dropped call to try to narrow down the issue. |

I wanted to but the other night there was such a language barrier I got no where. I don't know if that's only in the evenings or 24/7. I was quite frustrated when I got off the phone. |

You must have gotten an unlucky CS rep draw. Usually the Indians speak better English than people around here |
