Well...the thing I don't get is that I've been with Vonage for almost a year. Clearly I must be too tolerant of the service because it seems like I'm messing with this too frequently. I've had Comcast out here twice in the last four months checking everything inside and out on both trips and all checks out.

I wouldn't waste too much more time with Comcast. I had a dropped call today as well. It's got to be the RPT300 firmware or an issue on the Vonage side.
We experienced a dropped call the other day as well. My wife was talking to a friend and all of a sudden - silence. The call just disconnected. No reason, it wasn't a cell phone and it wasn't over the 4-hour limit.

Yep, Vonage imposes a 4-hour talk limit per call. We were talking to family and right at the 4-hour mark -- CLICK. No more talk. Do a search on it, you'll find all kinds of info on it out there.
