I recently dumpted DSL, went to Cablemodem and used the 2nd port to run a dedicated fax line through. I am running WinFax 10.02. However, communication is very unreliable. Usually it gives a "no response to training" or tries three times and gives up. Receiving is a little better, but still has its follies. I have (1) dropped the baud rate to 4800 (dropped it to 2400, but there is really no advantage). (2) changed the port FIFO buffers - transmit and receive - down to 4 and 5 each. Still getting poor function. My panasonic fax (stand alone model) works great, so I know it's the WinFax ... and Vonage even admits they don't support it. Any help on how I can get this tweaked? Thanks
