I've read on the forum about various issues that may arise when connecting Vonage to a PBX.
I would like to know if anyone has connected Vonage to a Panasonic Hybrid Telephone system, such as the KX-TA624 or KX-TA824, and whether they have experienced any problems in doing so.
Both of these PBX units accept analog telephone lines in.
as you probably know, at the time of this post, Vonage is dead in the UAE (recently took effect in areas serviced by DIC). However, i'm about to purchase an 824 pbx and hopefully then it's back online i'll be able to let you know if the two work together..

Can I connect my linksys router directly to my pbx system or do i need a filter for it. My local phone installer says that if i connect without a filter it will damage the pbx system.
I have had the TA624 running with 3 Vonage lines and a land line for about 6 months without problems. Seems to work just fine!
Hi your post is 3 years old already. But just want to take this chance. Hope you would be able to help me. Did you use DISA to answer your incoming call from Vonage? My problem is the panasonic DISA can't detect that there is an incoming call from the Vonage device.

A media gateway can probably provide connection between two or more PBX phone systems.
