I have been a happy Vonage customer for almost a year on one of two lines at my house. I was waiting for E911 before switching the main line over. Well we now have E911 in Austin (dial 933 to check at your location). So on Sunday, Jan 29, I pulled the trigger. Online LNP - sweet - this used to involve faxing paperwork, blah, blah, blah. Thursday morning I get an email from Vonage that I have a VoiceMail message for my home phone line! I pick up the home phone and it is dead. I haven't even gotten the new adaptor yet (I selected the $9.95 shipping assuming that LNP would take > 2 weeks at a minimum). Adaptor showed up Friday, hooked it up, everyone is oblivious to the change. Gotta love it. |
