Your packet discards are high. Is this a test connected directly to his WISP access point, or through a router or other device?

Wireless can suffer from additional latencies, in some cases, if you are too many wireless hops from the wired data source or if the WISP access point gets overloaded (which is pretty easy on an 11mbit shared connection)

http://vonage.nmhoy.net/packetloss.html may have some tips to help.

I don't know much about wireless, but I do know that they have a cat-5 cable that runs straight into the house and it jsut plugs into the computer. It is not behind a router or access point in their house. As far as it jumping to another access point outside the house, I do not know. I figured there might be problems with this, the packet discard looked high to me too. I was thinking of taking my PAP2 adaptor down and testing the phone, then we would have a real world test.

thanks for the help.

I have Comcast and can't load it either. Wonder if it has anything with Comcast trying to sell Voip (for $40 +)? Since I tend to be a conspiracy nut, probably not.
