I connected my Voip box as directed and to my house wiring as directed. I even went so far as to have the phone lines removed from my house. My problem is when I hooked up to a phone jack the first time it worked. All the jacks in the house were working. The next day I had no phones. I rebooted the system and every thing was fine. Next day no phones again. I now only have the phone that is connected to the Voip box. Any body got any ideas? |

If I understand you correctly, the phone connected directly to your Vonage adapter works correctly all the time. Is that correct? If so, tell us a bit more about how you've connected to the house wiring. |

My phone that is now connected to the pap2 works. I connected to my house wiring using a splitter at the pap2 box to a wall jack and to the phone I am currently using. Now when I plug into the wall jack the line 1 light on the pap2 starts blinking. |

A blinking line 1 light indicates that a phone is off hook somewhere, or that there is a short in the wiring. Try unplugging all of the phones that are plugged into jacks in the house. If that doesn't stop the blinking when you plug the PAP2 into the house wiring, then you have a short and you'll have to locate it somehow. |

I agree with Steve48 a blinking phone light either phone 1 or 2 means Phone is in uses Check cabling. |
