So I FINALLY got my router from Dell (They were on backorder or something) and followed your instructions. I had to do some tweaking on my own but things seem to be working great now!
It's so unfortunate that I had to buy the extra equipment though.
I thought tofu would give me the option of doing QoS on a range of ports. But I basically followed your upstream setting advice, set my Vonage device to have the Highest priority, set the port for my incoming uTorrent port to Low, gave the port the Vonage device was plugged into a High setting, then set my low ports to High and my High ports to Low .
I was sort of trying to get to bed and realize some of the stuff I've done was probably redundant or pointless . But now my torrents can run with wreckless abandon and my phone quality is great (avg around 4.4 on both ends from the Brix site).
Thanks!! |
