I was curious whether anyone has tried taking their ATA with them on a trip to California to see whether there's any noticeable latency in inbound or outbound calls when you're that far away from the part of the country that the Vonage infrastructure is supposedly located. Or, do we have any California Vonage customer who are using the service that could comment on whether they're experiencing any latency?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Jeff |

I have been using Vonage in San Diego for a couple of weeks now without any latency issues.
The only issue that I have had was during a call I decided to download a 500mb file at the same time, so there was some cutting out of the call, but it was somewhat expected since I my PC was hogging the bandwidth resources. I just need to look into giving the ATA priority when using it, but so far has not been an issue. |

I've been using the service for several months in So. Cal. Interestingly enough the only time I notice latency issues is when I am talking to someone on a cell phone. If I am calling a regular land line, no problems. |

LA customer for several months - no latency. On Comcast cable. Only latency sometimes when talking to Australia. Very slight. |
