Hi there,

Been with Vonage Canada for about 2 months now. Generally satisifed but it's definitely a lot quirkier than POTs. I notice the odd hiccup now and then like no voicemail to email for a couple days then all of a sudden they flood in.

Today I had another hiccup. I just found out someone left me a voicemail earlier on today but I never got voicemail stutter tone or email. Absolutely no indication what so ever. The only way I found out is when I got another voicemail that did trigger the stutter tone at which point I discovered the first voicemail.

Second problem
The second call that went to voicemail is supposed to simulring my cell phone but it never happened. Has nothing to do with my cell phone because if the phone was off or had no signal then the call would automatically go to the cell phone voicemail. I did not miss the ringing on the cell phone because there would be a missed call message on my cell phone.

Anyways, there are definitely some Vonage Canada gremlins today.

We haven't had those problems with our Vonage yet (not had it long enough I suppose, only on day 3), but the funny thing is that it's the very problems we have constantly with Telus, and thus our cellphones. We used to have our landline with Telus too, but cancelled it because it was too expensive to have both the landline and the cellphones (our phone habits are a little abnormal).

The cellphone won't ring, and then all of a sudden we get a notification that there's a message on the voicemail - usually atleast half an hour - sometimes a lot more, after people actually ring. Sometimes we even get voicemails that aren't meant for us ... or atleast they're people and numbers we have no idea who are.

Wife set up the Vonage voicemail, but other than that we haven't dealt with it.

I had the same problem about a week ago - two(2) voicemails left on one day within 3 hours of each other, e-mail & "pulsing dialtone" notification of the first but not the second.

It's been OK since... I think. Wink

I've seen this problem with my cell phone before on BOTH Bell Mobility and on Telus. Never had a problem with my Bell Canada landline voicemail though...
