Yes, I was really taken by surprise. When someone asks the same questions the third time around, not listining at all to the answers, etc., I can understand if someone becomes a little miffed. But John seems give preference to brief, very authoritarian answers, scolding, and then sarcasm, and that is not what any list needs (but has, as you pointed out).
