Post subject: Packet Prioritization/Alarms Beware!
This is a continuation of the ADT Alarm thread. I had
Vonage
set my packet prioritization to 10 in order to get my alarm to dial out successfully. A month later I decided to test my alarm and guess what, it wouldn't dial out. I called
Vonage
tech support and asked them what my packet prioritization was set at and they told me 20. The tech informed me that under normal circumstatnces that it shouldn't change.
Bottom line you should check to make sure your alarm can dial out on a periodic basis to be sure
Vonage
hasn't changed anything on you!
