Thats the one except I own it, now that the boost work has been carried out I am going to try to get CV to give me a loaner, its supposed to be included in the price now.

Is that the 3Com CMX they were giving out a while ago? If so go to your local branch and get the free loaner they give out. It is a TERRIBLE modem. |

Outstand post thanks Nate. After a long search I finally found a CDFA serial number in a bit pile of CDFB's at my local CompUSA, it was the last one.
I followed the posted instructions and installed the tofu13c software, configured QOS and its working like a champ. I have not tried running bittorrent yet, but other than that all looks good.

WRT54G: Serial numbers starting in CDFB are the new junk. CDFA and earlier are Linux.
